Successor edition and correction ledger

2026.10.7 is the successor edition to 2026.10.6. Release requires isolated public-only builds, independent private semantic disclosure review and one owner approval of the exact bundle and destination. Author-stage validation and successful builds do not grant deployment authority.

The preserved approved predecessor is 2026.10.6. Its issued PDFs, source and website archives, review archive, full text, evidence downloads and manifests are retained byte-for-byte. Its fixed source companion remains at downloads/source/. New companion text and PDF assets use downloads/2026.10.7/; the new source ZIP has the explicit successor edition in its filename. This prevents old PDFs from silently pointing to changed source bytes.

Record Change or qualification Preservation
GA-COR-001 Twelve new synthetic investigations add falsifiable positive and negative cases Earlier papers and evidence keep their original scope
GA-COR-002 AD8 broad assurance remains withheld; scoped native results do not imply full runtime or semantic migration Historical assertions are not resurrected by the new build
GA-COR-003 Original AD8 history is incomplete in the accessible capture No claim of full original-corpus review
GA-COR-004 Engineering Methodology states sole-human responsibility and substantive AI collaboration The owner's approved Author biography is unchanged
GA-COR-005 Research, Reference and Production records use a new strict public schema with two status axes Existing dated production evidence is not relabeled as a new observation
GA-COR-006 New source companion and release paths are versioned Predecessor policy, hashes, fixed companion and assets are frozen

The successor manifest identifies exact positive-allowlisted source bytes. Release tooling generates separate source, website and review archives and detached asset hashes. A separately maintained private approval record must bind the exact destination, source and artifacts. The source policy retains its PENDING preparation control; only the separate exact-bundle owner approval can authorize release. Historical owner approval does not approve the cumulative successor.

Corrections prepared for review

This successor regenerates its assertion register from public text, removes its private fingerprint fields and the source-map file, and omits production image/source equality identifiers. Previously public conceptual source guides retain document titles, ordinals, sections and chapter maps; this correction does not remove every locator or correspondence clue. New private evidence linkage and protected native compositions remain excluded. The dated historical operational examination remains attributable and bounded. The source-and-test-inspection assertion now carries source_inspected reference evidence and no production observation; separate metadata/readiness rows retain their legitimate historical methods. These corrections do not alter or retract the immutable predecessor. They do not erase earlier public exposure.

All twelve teaching cases have actual positive and negative observations. Fixed-point acceptance now checks the defining equation, numeric bounds are computed, and the founding waiting cycle is derived from transitions. Separate behavioral tests inspect results directly. Author execution does not establish independent reproduction or audit. Release requires combined source review, isolated public-only builds, independent generated-artifact review and exact owner approval.

Source-review corrections

Retained systems examinations are attributed consistently to the 10 October 2026 author-directed, model-assisted report. The new AD8 corpus/reference analysis adds no product or infrastructure examination. Homepage and discovery text mark real-customer operation as owner-attested while retaining the sole-human engineering attribution and substantive AI collaboration.

Fresh canonical reference executions receive actual UTC times and unique observation identities. Exact release packaging consumes an explicitly digest-verified immutable public observation, with separate deterministic document/archive metadata; matching rerun results do not make different events byte-identical. Generated analytics derives the successor edition and its eighteen PDF/three archive routes from the canonical publication identity. Historical download clicks are not attributed to the successor. The correction scope above acknowledges previously public conceptual source guides that remain in the exposition.

Release of corrected source requires independent source review, two isolated public-only builds, generated-artifact review and one final owner approval of the exact bundle and destination. No source correction grants publication authority.
